Kids Cabaret!
“Kids Cabaret!” is the perfect class for the creative, active, pre-schooler that loves to sing and move along to music! Using stories, songs, puppets, props and basic hand instruments, this light-hearted, energetic hour will surely be your child's favorite hour of the week! Voices in the Limelight
“Voices in the Limelight” (VITL) is an intensive course in basic vocal technique and musicianship for young actors and singers seeking to add a solid vocal foundation to their performance toolbox. The course is designed for approximately 15 students (no more than 20 in one class), ages depending on time slot listed below. While VITL is intended to lay a solid vocal foundation, it can also be viewed as a gateway to private voice lessons with In the Limelight. Students may come to VITL with no prior knowledge of music-reading or technique, and they will leave with a workable knowledge of both vocal production and music reading abilities. The course will focus on one musical foundation per week, with two weeks being spent on sight-reading. While this class will focus on technical skills, we will be singing a variety of classical musical theater literature, and having some fun, as well. The class will meet once a week for one hour, with the opportunity for an exhibition for family and friends at the end of the fall and spring seasons. $80 per month.MONDAYS 2:00-3:00 pm Home School (Mixed ages)

- LIMELIGHT GLEEKS
This is it! This is the one you have been waiting for! Do you love glee as much as we do? Even if you don't watch the show, do you love to sing and dance and perform in front of an audience? Then this is for YOU!! THE newest, hippest, “It” Glee-style, show choir in Central Florida that Is open to all kids and teens ages 9-16 who love to sing and dance. Auditions are only for vocal and dance solos held within the established group Offers training in voice and dance and teaches you to sing and dance the songs YOU want to sing from pop superstars and musical theater. Gleeks Is directed by In the Limelight’s Owner and Founder, Katie Corrie, features outstanding vocal training/ music direction by Elisabeth Drake and excellent dance training/ choreography by Billy Bowser. Gleeks Performs on stages, venues and events around Central Florida and beyond.

Lesson Time Slots
Piano and Guitar Lessons are available in half hour, 45 minute and one hour time slots. Voice lessons for students age 13 and up are required to take a 45 minute to one hour lessons.
Ages 9-12 may take a half hour voice lesson.
All lessons are scheduled at established time slots during the day or evening.

Lesson Fees
Lessons are $100 per month for half hour lessons.
$150 per month for 45 minute lessons.
$200 per month for one hour lessons.
Lesson Supplies
Each student will need to purchase and bring the following to each lesson:- An acceptable student/intermediate or professional guitar (toy instruments cannot be used). If you need to purchase or rent and instrument, please discuss this with us. We are very knowledgeable and can direct your purchase of a quality instrument for your student. We have a piano to teach on.
- Music method book(s) – the exact type of book(s) the student will need will be determined by their instructor at the first lesson. We have a recommended list.
- Spiral bound notebook for writing notes.
- A three ring binder with sheet protectors.
Missed Lessons and Make-Up Policy
There will be no credits or make ups given for unexcused missed lessons. Each student will be allowed 4 excused make up lessons per calendar year. Make up lessons must be taken within 30 days of the missed lesson otherwise they will be forfeited. The teacher’s time is reserved each week for you and cannot be changed unless, the teacher has an opening at a different time or day. You can check with us prior (24 hours minimum) and we will try to accommodate you, but we can not guarantee this as the teacher’s schedules are normally full. In order to qualify for a make up lesson, the student or parent must call/e-mail us at least 24 hours in advance in order to change a lesson time or schedule a make up. If you do not call at least 24 hours in advance, you will forfeit the lesson. Please work with us on this and we will try our best to work with you. If we know in advance you will be absent, we can schedule another student’s make up lesson in your time slot and visa verse, that way everyone has a chance of making up a missed lesson.
