PERFORMING ARTS STAFF NEEDED
In the Limelight is expanding our program and are looking for:
· Musical Theater/Voice Teacher (must be able to play the piano) to work with ages 8-18 for summer 2010 and beyond
· Choreographer to work with ages 8-18 for summer 2010 and beyond

We are currently looking for…
An experienced Musical Theater Professional who can play the piano and teach beginner-intermediate voice technique to ages 8-18 and an experienced choreographer/dance professional who can work with children and teens ages 4-18 for various productions, classes and camps in both Gotha and Orlando, FL starting in June 2010.
• Must have at least 3 years experience teaching and 21 years of age or older.
• You will facilitate high-energy sessions using lesson plans you have created and/or scripts/scores.
• Must be a happy, patient person with a genuine respect and love for children and teens who can provide structured, entertaining sessions that keep everyone engaged.
• Must be dependable and have personality.
• In the spring, must be available for Saturday rehearsals and possibly Wednesdays after school. In the summer, must be available for Monday-Friday, 9-4 sessions. Musical Theater sessions produce a production or performance in a 1 or 2 week rehearsal period from 9am – 4 pm plus show times.
• Must be fluent in written and verbal English.
• Must creatively motivate and inspire students.
• Must be able to create lesson plans.
• Must be able to commit to entire production/camp sessions/class session. Preferably looking for long term.

IN THE LIMELIGHT TECHNICAL INTERNSHIPS 2010 In the Limelight is proud to offer a unique artistic opportunity for high school juniors and seniors beginning in the Spring of 2010. Talented students will be offered the opportunity to work beside professional artists as a member of In the Limelight! Technical interns will work in scenic, properties and stage management positions depending on the student’s experience and expertise! Phone: 407-340-0920 An Innovative Program IN THE LIMELIGHT provides students with the unique chance to learn about children’s theater. We seek talented, dedicated students who desire to work alongside our professionals and refine their talents and skills in this unique theatre environment. Our goal is provide our interns with a comprehensive, innovative, educational, artistic experience that will inspire and assist them as they continue their study and work in the theatre. Our rehearsals take place at the YMCA Aquatic Center on International Drive in Orlando. Our performances take place a professional theatre spaces throughout Orlando. Interns can choose to focus on one or several aspects of theatre: • Assistant to the Director (Spring and Summer). • Music assistant (Summer) • Choreography and dance assistant (Summer) • Set design and construction (Spring and Summer) • Scene painting (Spring and Summer) • Property design and construction (Spring and Summer) • Costume design and construction (Spring and Summer) • Sound and lights: design, set up and running (Spring and Summer) • Stage management (Spring and Summer) • Production assistant (Spring and Summer) Reward All interns may use their hours towards any community service or school requirements. Working with In the Limelight Eligibility Our program is intended for High school students. Students who are graduating from high school or rising seniors in 2010-11 are eligible to apply for the In the Limelight Internships. Dates/Hours Interns will work a set schedule of hours depending on the show. Spring shows are Saturdays from 9-12 or 1-4. Summer shows are Monday – Friday from 9-4 or one or two week stretches, depending on the show. Application and Audition All interns must apply and interview for their positions with In the Limelight.
