With a beautiful score including "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" and the classic "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo," this musical will charm its way into your heart, and remind you that dreams really can come true.

HOW TO BE INVOLVED IN CINDERELLA:
Join us at the YMCA Aquatic Center, on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 12:30-2:30 pm. We want to meet you & your actor(s), have the children participate in a very simple group & individual audition, and play a game or two. Information packets will be on hand for parents. This is a great way to meet the staff, see the facility and watch your child in action! All children will be cast in the production. The audition is for placement. This is a full-scale musical theater production that will include costumes, sets, props and training in dance, singing and acting. Each child will receive a script/songbook and CD to practice at home if they would like. Please click on the CONTACT US tab, complete the form and someone will contact you to confirm your R.S.V.P. to the group audition on February 27.

Spend an intensive week long rehearsal process performing in Kim Selody's enchanting adaptation of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. The Hobbit tells the story of Bilbo Baggins, a simple hobbit, whose life takes an exciting turn when he is summoned to voyage by the wizard Gandalf. Bilbo, reluctant at first, acknowledges his call to duty and joins a band of dwarves, under the leadership of Thorin Oakenshield, on a quest to reclaim stolen treasure from the feared dragon Smaug. Their grand adventure starts far off to the East, beyond the Misty Mountains, to dungeons deep and caverns old. Along the way Bilbo and crew encounter a series of obstacles involving goblins, spiders, trolls, elves, and the not-so-clever creature Gollum. Forced to think and act quickly, Bilbo outsmarts many of his opponents (including Smaug), displays his bravery, proves himself essential to the quest, and unites the citizens of Middle Earth as they prepare to battle greedy goblins.

The pie-flinging, pinstripe-wearing, pint-sized classic has finally made it to the musical stage in this adaptation of the hit film that catapulted a young Jodie Foster to stardom!

A cast of youngsters play Prohibition-era mobsters in this tongue-in-cheek tribute to the 1920s gangster flick. It seems Fat Sam, who runs one of the most popular speakeasies in town, is in danger of being closed down by his "business rival" Dandy Dan. Enter baby-faced Bugsy Malone (Scott Baio in the film), a killer with the ladies and a definite asset to Fat Sam. Unfortunately, Bugsy has also caught the eye of Sam's girlfriend Tallulah (Jodie Foster in the film)-though he's set his designs on the showgirl Blousey Brown.
