There are many performing arts programs in Central Florida that offer creative drama and put on plays/ musicals. In the Limelight is different - we offer so much more. As a parent, you want to see marked improvement in your child's skill level and ability - and a return on your investment. It is not only about having fun, but also learning new skills, honing your talent, and learning a disciplined approach to performing. We expect our young actors to deliver 100%. Our students "have a blast" – but they also work hard and learn valuable techniques and skills that translate into greater success in life. They appreciate the discipline and are often amazed by how much they have learned and how much fun they are having. All of our class offerings are limited in number or private and each coaching session is customized to meet your child’s individualized performing needs.
In the Limelight offers acting, dance and singing classes for all ages; beginners, intermediate, or advanced actors. Our beginner and intermediate class are for actors who are interested in learning more about acting and want to be more confident on stage and in front of the camera. We cover all of the theater basics and focus on skills development. In return, young actors present more genuine and realistic performances. It is a well known fact that casting directors are looking for actors trained in this method and these types of classes are few and far between in Central Florida. This class is recommended for actors that have solid stage and/or on-camera experience. Sensory/Stanislavski Method Acting classes are 1-hour and 15 minutes in length. All classes are made by appointment and grouped according to age and availability. All students must go through the prior Technique before advancing to the next level.
